1Last Sunday I went to Brunswick Flea Market at Howler Bar with my friend Nikki. You may remember Nikki from posts like this one , she also has taken a few outfit photos of me since I’ve been back in Melbourne and we do love a good catch up. Actually, the market itself was quite small and after looking at the stalls there in less than 15 minutes we figured we better have a beer and then take some outfit photos. I reckon this market is more of a later afternoon thing perhaps?

2Anyway, as we wandered the streets of Brunswick and checked out the cool street art, I felt a sense of happiness, like I truly felt I belonged in Melbourne again. I’ve been home for 9 months now, but hadn’t actually felt that I lived here. It was just like I was on an extended holiday…or something. Aside from missing my fiance terribly, I am pretty happy with my life right now and feel like everything is in harmony. In some ways I feel like him coming here and our marriage visa being approved will be the final step in me feeling completely happy with my life, and, if it isn’t approved… well.. I don’t even want to think about that….

But, I mean, I work my teaching job 2 days a week and I love it and the students I teach, I work on my baby PHO sizzle the rest of the time, and even though it sometimes make me super tired doing so much, I know it is the only way that PHO sizzle will succeed. I can say that since the website opened on April 1st (and actually from before that) I have worked harder on this brand than anything else in my life. Also after my hypnotherapy, I am also concentrating on being healthier, which is also giving me a strong sense of happiness and satisfaction. Does it sound like I’m bragging? I’m not, I’m just trying to say that I feel so thankful with what life has given me, but right now I’m going to run out and feed the ducks special healthy duck food with my sister and my niece.

Thanks to Nikki for taking these and taking me on a fun outing! Sometimes working so much makes me forget to get out of the house!

It doesn’t at all sounds like you’re bragging, it sounds marvellous and exactly the way life should be. You’re working hard it carve out you’re niche in the world, and you are well and truly allowed to be impressed with yourself. I’m so glad you came back to Melbourne :) x
