You know, I never did get to join in Aussie Curves Boho week, which is bizarre considering how many boho-esque outfits I wear. So, for this final week of Aussie Curves and with the theme of Challenge Flashback, I decided to create a boho look specifically for Aussie Curves, since I missed that week.
Hey, yo, I got some exciting, PHO sizzling news! As you probably already know, we are doing TWO RUNWAY shows for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week!
One interesting show by ARTZ is on Sunday the 7th of September at The Orchid Room (you can buy tickets here) . It combines poetry with fashion in a massive arty way that’ll be awesome and unique!
Also, the other show I am doing is on August 30th at North Melbourne Town Hall. It is the World Designer Runway Show and will mean PHO sizzle is lucky enough to be part of the same show that has Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, and heaps of other wonderful designers!! ISN’T THAT AWESOME?? I MEAN, ISN’T THAT THE BEST NEWS EVER?? I pretty much hyperventilated into a bag when I found out, and then told the PHO sizzle team and there was much excitement!! You can find more out about that show here (as well as getting a kick out of going to the designers page and seeing our humble little brand) and you can book tickets here . We’ll be showing 10 of out 18 piece Mix n Match Marine collection at this show, and it’ll be the first time it has been seen by the public (aside from sneaky Instagram shots) We’ll be bringing it out to sell to the public in late September – and it is size 6AU to 20AU. Anyway, I’ll stop waffling now, after all, that is what PHO sizzle’s blog LOVE is for! 😀
So, this outfit is my ‘go-to boho’ look – My Dad’s cardi that you’ve seen a bunch of times (here and here and that crazy desert post I did here) , our Maxi Tribe PHO sizzle skirt, a silver top I have worn for my Metallic Milkmaid post, a beanie I bought when I lived in Perm, Russia, and slippers from Sapa, and well, I thought I’d just loaf about in the alcove for this post. My sister being my photographer and encouraging my silly poses 😀
Cardigan: Vintage Top: 7 Angels Factory Outlet in CBD Skirt: PHO sizzle (size 12 & 14 left on website, size 8 to 16 stocked in Design A Space in Fitzroy) Socks: Daiso (where I buy all my socks) Slippers: from a friend who bought them at Sa Pa Belt: Vintage Hat: Market in Perm
Isn’t life grand? I’m so happy right now with how PHO sizzle is moving along at the moment. I am so blessed by the team of people in my company, and around me that are helping this flourish! Thanks to my sister for taking these too – I love photo shoots with her cos we always end up chortling about something 😀
Don’t forget to check out the other Curves ladies below to see their interpretation of Challenge Flashback!!
