Aussie Curves – Secondhand

4When I saw that Aussie Curves was having a Secondhand themed week I immediately starting putting together an outfit consisting of entirely thrifted clothes. Mostly when I wear something second hand, it’s as a feature piece to the outfit, but brainstorming a full thrifted outfit was much harder. In the end I cheated a bit with the sunnies and earrings, but, everything else is second hand from various op shops.

8I’m pretty happy with my outfit and my new yellow shirt, customized from the men’s section of an op shop in Moonee Ponds. As I said in my Top 5 Things to Remember when Thrifting post, remember to check ALL the sections! I love customizing t-shirts to suit what I want to wear them with and the men’s section have some hilariously good, and hilariously bad logo imaged tees.

A lot of these pieces you’ve already seen individually in posts, the awesome suede vest is from my Bad Reputation post, the skirt I wore to Hanging Rock last week and blogged about here and the boots were in my Kimonoville post. You’ve seen the belt and earrings more times than I can count, but the sunnies are new and I snaffled them from Glassons.

Thanks to my wonderful sister for taking these photos, and my niece for supervising.
